The Forest's : : Family Session

: : Derek is seven months old. How time flies : :
: : Derek is going to be a penguin for his first Halloween : :
: : We ended our session enjoying apple cider and freshly made donuts : :

Happy Halloween!

It's been a while, a long while, since I've had the opportunity to post much of anything from my personal life these days. Personal life? What you see on this blog is the embodiment of how my life has been spent the past several months!

But I had a request from Hannah a few weeks ago asking if I might be posting any recent pictures of my chihuahua Tanner J. Maybe in a Halloween costume.

So for Hannah and all those missing seeing this adorable face...here you go. And Happy Halloween!

Tanner loves being dressed up for Halloween. Can't you tell?

Heather + Steve : : Preview Gallery

Saturday, October 25, 2008

: : Steve and Heather were married at the Van Andel Public Museum : :
: : Heather and I used to work together back when I had a day job. I remember her telling me she didn't want a big wedding : :
: : They had a big wedding. And it was incredible : :
: : Heather's god-mother made the cake. In the south. And drove it up : :
: : The cake was beautiful : :
: : Heather and Steve were married in an auditorium under theatrical lights among all those closest to them : :
: : We got to play on the carousal : :
: : Despite the dreary, cold day, the love and laughter lit up the entire museum : :

: : Heather's little sister, looking on : :

: : Their first meeting was at this old trolley in the museum. Totally loved it! : :

: : My favorite shot of the day : :

Behind the Scenes : :

: : I this picture I told Heather and Steve to lean over my legs fora series of shots with the airplane overhead. I looked ridiculous. Angie thought so too and captured this picture of me while she stood on a chair : :

: : Totally worth it : :
