3.16.08 : : Make Love Not War

I was downtown wrapping up an engagement session when I caught this group of protesters marching the downtown streets. Immediately the soundtrack to 'Across the Univervse' popped in my head (I just watched this movie recently and it's completely amazing. I downloaded the entire soundtrack to my iPod) and I grabbed my gear to capture some images. Both young and old and were marching and it was quite a sight to behold.

I should note that these images were actually captured on Saturday, but Sunday's are a day for me to rest, spend time with Jason and watch back to back episodes of America's Next Top Model on MTV. Not exactly gripping material in which to photograph.

Just blog browsing, and I came across yours. I love photography, and the anti-war rally pictures grabbed my eye. Where was this really at? I would have liked to have been there. I see you're from Michigan, me too!
