Lunar Eclipse

I wasn't going to photograph this tonight, mainly because I was so warm in my house and it was SO cold outside, but eventually my curiosity got the best of me and I ran outside with my camera and my tripod. I'm sure there are those out there who would get a much better image than this one but at least now I can say I went outside to witness and document this lunar event.

I think it is super cool!! I was too lazy and warm to check it out first hand. What is the white spec in the bottom left hand side???

That's a star on the lower left-hand side.

I was hoping someone would catch this! Greg and I were outside, but my little point-n-shoot just doesn't do the trick! Thanks for posting and freezing your tush off :)

Actually, I think that it is a planet. I thought I heard them talking about it on the news. I was the same way - BORING but then I thought about it as being a good challenge for me for getting proper exposure in a dark situation and managing longer exposure times. it was fun. I am a NERD!

I think it looks great! Addie was in bed so I didn't want to go outside! Darn trees blocked the sky from inside!
