10.04.07 : : New Lens + New Shoes = Happiness!

You know it's a slow picture day when I'm taking pictures of my shoes.

Actually, today was a day filled with meetings and I'm happy to say that my 2008 wedding season is booking up nicely! I am so excited for all of the weddings next year, the ideas and creativity that so many of my clients are putting into their big days.

Now, back to the shoes. This pair of shoes was a pair I purchased on my recent trip to Vegas (and some of you regular comments [ahem Amanda] may have even asked to see some of my shoe purchases). They're a little crazy, a little tall, and a whole lot of fabulous! I love them and am wearing them as I type this post. They have become my favorite pair of shoes and I thought it would be fitting that the fabulous new lens take a pair of the fabulous shoes.

For those of you who want to know, the new lens was one I've been lusting after all season and finally decided to bite the bullet and purchase. It's the yummy 85mm f1.4 and practically takes pictures in the dark. I'm very much loving it!

Mmmm.... 1.8 f/stop. *Drool*

I need something like that lens when I get assigned to shoot basketball games. 85mm would be the perfect zoom, and the 1.8 f/stop would be a-friggin-mazing for a gym.

Those are slammin! Congrats on the lens! So I think I might be right about the lower the aperture offered, the more light it lets in, and the better. Good for you!
