Despite seeing so much snow on the ground, I was happy to see the sunshine out today. And so apparently did the wildlife.I loved that I was able to catch this cardinal in mid-flight...leaving the branch to head down to the bird feeder.
And where there is bird seed, there are squirrels. Five I counted in all today.
And Tanner...the Squirrel Hunter.

These are gorgeous! I just posted some squirrel pictures today too! They are so cute. I love how bright the cardinal is against the background. We just switched our seed from oil sunflower to these striped sunflower seeds and the wildlife is not lovin' it at all so I may have taken my last pictures for awhile of our birds and squirrel..
