Kaitlyn + Jon : : Trash the Dress!

Kaitlyn and I have worked together a lot in the past year...from shooting her sassy boudoir session, to having her assist for a session last summer, to her attending our photography workshop, I have enjoyed getting to know this girl and her fun-loving attitude.

When she contacted me last month to see if I might be able to shoot a Trash the Dress Session for her and Jon's anniversary, I eagerly flipped open my calendar and we made our date. As much as I had gotten to know Kaitlyn, Jon I hadn't met yet!

The session started out dramatically...with getting a phone call from Jon saying they were stranded on the highway! I quickly rushed to their aide, put them in my car and we continued with our session anyway. Those two looked amazing! We were all still ready to rock it out and rock it out we did.

I always like to start by getting some fun shots, sweet shots, and shots that won't ruin the dress just yet.

After we played around downtown a bit we headed over to Riverside Park. The sun was setting and the air was cooling down. It was an absolutely perfect night for their session.

I have to give major props to Kaitlyn for these shots. When we originally talked about their session together, she mentioned she would love to get in the water. Well, this water was a tad...well, slimy. And while she looks so calm here, so serene, it was not the case. But she looks simply beautiful!

To finish our session, they had brought two small, scrumptious little cakes to smash into each other. A perfectly delicious way to end!

Kaitlyn + Jon - I absolutely loved working with you two last night! Happy Anniversary and I hope you both enjoy your preview!

Erick : : Senior Session

I first met Erick, my friend Michelle's son, nearly 9 years ago. Never did I imagine he would grow up so quickly or that I would be shooting his senior pictures while he rocked a seriously fabulous 80's wardrobe. The shoes, the neon, the snowboard...it all made for a totally rad session. It also certainly didn't hurt that the camera loves this kid.

A little "behind the scenes" styling action from Michelle.
Totally lovin' these shoes.

Loved working with you both yesterday guys! Erick - I hope you enjoy your preview!

Sara + Joe : : Preview Gallery

Saturday, August 23, 2008

Sara and Joe are a couple that I have gotten to know well over the past year and from talking to them about their vision for their day, I knew it was one that I was going to enjoy immensely! And even the rain that came during as we were at Reed's Lake didn't dampen anyone's spirits. This couple shrugged their shoulders, hopped in the limo and we came up with plan B. Love them!

The colors were a rich palette of deep oranges and purples and Sara's dress was simply stunning. The flowers came from Modern Day Floral, which brides-to-be...if you are looking for a florist, call Jennifer today. Her designs were beautiful and I was thoroughly impressed.

Their ceremony was held at the First United Methodist church in downtown Grand Rapids and the reception at the ever-fabulous Meijer Gardens. The cake was another amazing Sweet Cakes creation, which is always one of my favorite parts of the reception.

Some of the beautiful details of the day
This dress was seriously stunning. It was absolutely the perfect dress for Sara.

I love this pocket watch that Sara gave Joe as his wedding gift. One side with a picture of his bride...perfect!

I love this part of the day! Joe and Sara chose not to see each other until the ceremony. I always love seeing both of their reactions the first time they lay eyes on each other.

The skies opened up seconds after this shot was taken.

So what's a wedding party to do when the pictures are cut short by rain? Head off to have a few beers at a favorite hang-out!
While the wedding party enjoyed their time hanging out, Sarah, Joe, Angie and I went over to the theater next door for some pictures. We asked if we could sneak into an empty theater for some pictures and they obliged! Who's going to say no to a beautiful bride on her wedding day?

Sara and Joe - I wish you so much happiness in your lives together. I couldn't have been more honored to be a part of your day!

Angela + David : : Married!

Not very often do I have a mid-week wedding, but this evening was an absolute delight with a gorgeous wedding at the Michillinda Lodge in Whitehall, MI. Angela and David radiated their love and affection for each other throughout the evening and I was lucky enough to have been there to capture it all.

Check back soon for their preview gallery...the details and location pictures are not to be missed!

Hudson : : Doggy Session!

Yesterday I met Hudson and his mom Patricia out at the dog park in Holland for a doggy session. This was a session I was looking forward to not only because I love all things dog-related, but also because this session has a pretty cool story attached with it.

Two years ago, I was happily strolling through the Holland Farmer's Market one Saturday morning in September, camera in hand, and picking up some fresh veggies and flowers. I happened upon a woman with an adorable dashound puppy and asked if I could snap a few pictures. We exchanged emails and I sent her a few of the pictures.

Imagine my surprise earlier this summer when Patricia emailed me to say she ran into one of my doggy clients at the dog park and when she looked at the online pictures, realized I was the same photographer that took Hudson's pictures a few years prior! She emailed me to set up an official session and I met them again yesterday...Hudson now a full-grown, fully adorable dog. What a serendipitous moment!

This is little Hudson in all of his puppy glory, taken in early September two years ago.

Hudson has a wonderful sense of fashion.
Hudson and Patricia - Wonderful to see you both again! Enjoy your preview :)

Rock the Family

After Anthony's senior session Monday afternoon, the rest of his family joined us downtown to rock out a fun urban family session.

Right after I finished taking the above picture, I happened to look behind me to see the guys all hanging out by the bridge. Totally unposed and unplanned. Those are oftentimes my favorite pictures.

You guys were great fun to work with! Enjoy your preview!

Anthony : : Senior Session

My second senior shoot of the day was a talented young man by the name of Anthony. I was so excited that he brought his guitar and we definitely made good use of it. He even strummed a few chords during our session together which I have to say I was beyond impressed. Anthony - if you ever get a record deal, you just call me up and we'll put your CD cover together!

Enjoy your preview!

Ryan : : Senior Session

While the last few weeks have been heavy with senior sessions, I had yet to have a session with a senior boy. This week, that all changes as I have quite a few lined up. Total fun!

Yesterday afternoon I drove out to Ryan's family home in Holland for his senior session, photographing him in trees, jumping out of trees, and basically outlining just how different guys sessions are from girl's sessions. It was a lot of fun and thankfully the jumping was all supervised with his mom (Hi Lisa!).

You know I can't resist putting a dog in the shot!

Session Availability Update

Lately I've had an outpouring of emails wanting sessions through the end of October, and while I'm totally flattered that there are so many wanting sessions, the reality is there is only one of me and while I've tried to accommodate as many as I can, I'm also at risk of complete overload if I continue to take any sessions over the course of the next few months.

For anyone wanting fall sessions, I have a few openings in November, but I'm afraid my schedule from now until October 31 is booked up solid.

Thank you thank you thank you to all that have inquired! I truly thank everyone for their business. You guys are awesome!

And because a post is really quite boring without an image, here is a shot of the ferry boat in Saugatuck that I shot while out with friends last Sunday.

Sara + Joe : : Married!

Sara and Joe's wedding was another that I have been totally looking forward to this summer! I first met Sara and Joe at Sara and Chad's wedding last August (Happy Anniversary you two!) and we briefly chatted about their wedding. We met shortly after and ever since I knew this was going to be an amazing wedding. Not only were the details, the wedding and the people fabulous, but working with Sara and Joe yesterday just reconfirmed once again what I love so much about my job.

Congratulations again you two! Enjoy your Mexican honeymoon and look for a preview gallery later this week!

Kari + Nick : : Engaged!

This morning I woke up and looked outside only to see the skies clouding over and rain threatening to pour down any minute. I feared that my engagement session with Kari and Nick might be in jeopardy so we pushed it back a few hours.

So a few hours later...rain. But we didn't care and forged ahead anyway. It just forced me to think outside my normal realm of downtown possibilities. The result? A rockin' session in some unexpected places. Who says a parking ramp can't be fabulous?

The rain did stop right at the end of our session and we ran out to take advantage of the beautiful light.

Kari and Nick - One year from this very day you'll be walking down the aisle to wedding bliss. Can't wait to be there to capture every minute!

Parker + Sam : : Double the Fun

When Liz contacted me about setting up a family session and mentioned that she had twin, two-year-old boys, I knew it was going to be an adventure!

Sam and Parker are energetic, completely adorable, and I learned, very different from one another. Sam likes cars, Parker likes bubbles. Both were totally uninterested in sitting down in a park to take pictures. Go figure! No worries...I went on their schedule and captured what they did best...play!

This is little Sam...
And this is little Parker...

And the completely adorable family all together!

When the boys were done, it was mom and dad's turn for a groovy session together. They love being downtown together so it was the perfect backdrop.

Their one request: A picture inside this fountain at the Gerald R. Ford Museum...they had a picture shot here on their wedding day 7 years ago. Love it!
Thanks again for a fun session and to the fabulous young ladies helping us (Liz's two teenage cousins), you two were totally fabulous and a HUGE help! Enjoy your preview guys!

Colin : : Six Months!

This afternoon Colin made his first visit to the studio. I was greeted with big blue eyes and an easy smile. This little guys was happy and the total definition of Chill. Even after heading out for some fun urban baby pictures on a warm summer day.

Colin's mom and dad and grandma were the sweetest people to work with! They wanted a few traditional pictures but really wanted fun and different pictures. Done and done!

How hilarious is Colin's expression here...love it!

Colin darling, you just come by anytime! Thanks for the fun session guys!

Robin + Sam : : Celebrating the Bump!

Last summer, I photographed my friend Robin and her fiance' Sam for their engagement session. Almost exactly one year, I captured them again, celebrating another big step in their lives together. A little one due next month!

This couple has a will of steel as they have decided not to find out the gender of their little one. They want the surprise in the delivery room. And while I respect that (really, I do!)...I also find it a little infuriating. I totally want to outfit shop!

Robin and Sam, thanks again for coming to see me yesterday! Enjoy your preview and Robin, I'll see you on Friday :)

Shelby : : Senior Session!

Senior season is in full swing and last night I had the fun of working with Shelby again last night, who will be starting her senior year at East Kentwood High School.

I first met Shelby last month at Alicia and Troy's wedding. Shelby is Troy's sister and she was a total blast to work with last night. We headed out to Windmill Island for the start of her session and ended up at Tunnel Park beach.

Thanks again Shelby! Can't wait to share the rest of your pictures with you!

Little Lauryn : : 2 Years!

Yesterday afternoon I had the pleasure of once again working with little Lauryn and her mom and dad at Spring Grove Park. I photographed Lauryn for the first time last year, celebrating her first birthday and it was totally great seeing how much she's grown since then!

Can you believe the adorableness?

Betsy, Lauryn's mom, is someone I have bonded with over the past year because of a little show called 'The Hills'. After each episode we will email to discuss the episodes which is totally indulgent and fun, and also because, well...my friends all think I'm a little crazy for watching it. But the clothes, the drama...it's all so delishisly addicting!
Yesterday, Betsy asked if I would take some headshots for her for a new venture she's starting with local realty company Art Realty. I told her I would link back to the company because I actually was pretty impressed with the way this company is run. If anyone is in the market, this site is worth checking out.

Thanks again guys for coming out to see me! Enjoy your preview!

Sandy + Michael : : Preview Gallery

Saturday, August 16 : : Grand Haven Golf Club

Sometimes when I sit down to write my little synopsis of a wedding, I feel like a broken record. I know I say so often that I have such amazing clients...but once again, the case is more than true with Sandra and Michael.

When I met Sandy at the Grand Haven Golf Club she and her sister were quietly getting ready, putting on the finishing touches before we all took off to do some portraits of just her and Mike. I asked if she wanted me to set up something for the first time they saw each other that day, but she responded that it wasn't necessary. When he walked through the doors and they laid eyes on each other for the first time, it was not set up, no big 'ta da'. It was just a beautiful, real moment between the two of them. Both excited to see the other and ready to get married.

When Sandy and I met last year to discuss their day, we both had this vision of traipsing through a wheat field for some of their pictures. I did some scouting, as did she, and we both found some fields nearby to the club weeks before their date. Unfortunately, harvest-time was just before their wedding and we had to think of a new location. A nearby field, filled with wild flowers was just perfect.

After our time alone we headed to nearby Kirk Beach to meet up with the wedding party. I was loving the colors...the bright pinks of the girls dresses, the colorful ties on the groomsmen and the purple and ivory flowers...so amazing!
Sandy gave each of her bridesmaids this delicate little locket containing a picture of her with each of them. I loved this touch and the small bird on each necklace matched the theme of their day.

As I mentioned in their sneak preview post, I had the fabulous Darrin Wassom with me as my second shooter for the day. He did an amazing job and would welcome him along anytime! And this picture just truly made me laugh...Darrin had grabbed my shoes for me as we were walking back and I turned around just in time to see him shooting while my totally impractical heels dangled from his fingers. Darrin...you're a total trooper!
Seeing Double: Mike has an identical twin brother and when we first all met together at Kirk Beach, I noticed that Mike had taken off his tie and jacket and I was completely confused as we were in a bit of a hurry. Then I turned around to see that Mike hadn't done either of those things, but that I was gazing at his brother who had yet to put the rest of his outfit together.

Ready to walk down the aisle

Married!

During their receiving line, I happened to see Mike just looking at his new bride. I love this look he is giving her...completely adorable and one I saw often throughout the day.

Sandy and her mom put an amazing amount of time into the details of their day. Sandy's mom even grew the flowers used in the centerpieces herself. They turned out completely beautiful!

Sandy and Michael - Thank you again for allowing me to be a part of this beautiful day. I hope you are enjoying your honeymoon traveling the beautiful Vermont countryside. Blessings to you both!

Sandy + Michael : : Married!

Sandy and Michael were married yesterday at the Grand Haven Golf Club. I knew when I received their invitation in the mail that this was going to be a wedding full of amazing details and a natural, organic feel.

This wedding was absolutely fabulous...not only because Sandy and Mike were totally sweet and great to work with, but I also had the pleasure of having local photographer Darrin Wassom along to second-shoot with me while Angie is out of town. Thanks again Darrin!

Look for Sandy and Mike's preview later this week!

Lisa + Jeff : : Preview Gallery

On 08.08.08, Lisa and Jeff were married at their home church in Ravenna, MI with a reception to follow at the Knights of Columbus in Conklin. It was casual and fun and matched their personalities perfectly!

The day started off super unique, with Lisa and Jeff meeting downtown to see each other for the first time. A back alley-way meeting....love it!

Afterwards, we had an hour and a half, just with the two of them, to walk around downtown exploring areas and getting some fabulous fun pictures.Lisa's gown was breathtaking and when I asked where she purchased it from, it was none other than our own September's Bride in Holland. Some of my favorite dresses I've seen on my fabulous brides come from there.

That's some crazy height!

Across the street from the church they were to be married at was this old stockyard area. Totally loving it for the group pictures!

Lisa put so much of her own touches into her day. She made the flowers, the programs and countless other touches.

And for their grand announcement into the reception, Jeff drove them both in on his Harley. Definitely an entrance none of the guests will be forgetting soon! Angie caught this great image below.

Jeff and Lisa - You know I loved working with you both and I loved your sense of adventure and willingness to go along with some of my crazy ideas on our trek downtown. I hope the honeymoon was amazing and that you enjoy your preview!

Melissa + Josh : : Engaged

Melissa and Josh drove down from Alma, MI yesterday to meet me in Grand Haven for their engagement shoot. While Melissa was definitely more excited than Josh was about their session, Josh was totally easy-going and I had a great time working with both of them.

I had to show off Melissa's fabulous leopard-print shoes!

Loved working with you two last night! Enjoy your preview and can't wait until your wedding next May!

Shelby : : Senior Session

Shelby is an all around fabulous girl...involved with sports, friends and family. We had a wonderful time shooting in both downtown Holland and at Tunnel Park Beach. Shelby had beautiful outfits, a sweet smile and a great personality to work with.

Enjoy your preview Shelby...I had a hard time narrowing them down!

Ashley : : Senior Session

Ashley is about to enter her senior year at Hamilton High School. An ambitious (she wants to be a chemical engineer...see...ambitious!!) and sweet girl, we met in Hamilton to start her session yesterday.

I was absolutely loving these beautiful trestles from the train tracks above...gorgeous setting and gorgeous girl!

From there we headed over to Tunnel Park beach in Holland for some beautiful beach and sunset pictures. The weather and the lighting were perfect!

Ashley, thank you for a wonderful session! I had a great time getting to know you and your mom and I hope you enjoy your preview!

Deanna + Ryan : : Engaged!

Tuesday evening I got to meet the fabulously fun couple of Deanna and Ryan in downtown Chicago for their engagement session. It was the first time we met in person and after a few minutes of working with them, it felt like we had known each other for years.

This couple is totally fun-loving and quick to laugh. We explored the fabulous Millenium Park area and ended our session with the sun setting behind the city. A perfect night and a totally enjoyable session. Deanna and Ryan - enjoy your preview! Can't wait to see you again next spring!

Allie + Paul : : Trash the Dress!

First, for those who are a little shocked when hearing a phrase like "Trash the Dress", let me assure you that the ultimate goal is not to 'trash' ones' beautiful wedding gown, but to create some beautiful, artistic and romantic shots of a couple in love. Plus, what girl doesn't want to wear their wedding gown again?!

Paul and Allie were married this past June
and now reside together in Chicago. Instead of doing an engagement session, they chose instead to do a Trash The Dress session in their now hometown of Chicago. My response...Absolutely!

Tuesday my assistant for the day, my husband Jason, and I headed to their apartment to start our trek for some amazing pictures. It was an adventure right from the start and was totally great to hang out with this lovely couple again.

Jason was the perfect assistant...pink camera strap and all he didn't complain once. He truly got to see all the crazy lengths I will go through to get a shot.

After we were done with the downtown area, we hopped a plane and flew out to Hawaii for some tropical beach pictures.I kid, I kid. But I was shocked to walk onto the beach only to be greeted with palm trees planted there. Loved it!

So as I was snapping this picture....
Jason was snapping this one.
I love the skyline of Chicago. I love this city!

And now for the water portion of our shoot together.

I love this shot. It's romantic...and you would never know a large crowd was gathered behind us totally wondering if we had all lost our minds.
Allie and Paul - you two were so much fun to work with again and I loved your 'up for anything' attitude. I hope you enjoy your preview and I look forward to sharing the rest with you!

Out of the Office

From Monday to Wednesday this week I will be out in Chicago photographing Allie and Paul's 'Trash the Dress' session as well as some engagement sessions. Totally excited! I love Chicago! I will be responding to emails and phone calls as my schedule allows. You know, in between the shooting, the shopping and the fabulous restaurants.

Look for some great blog posts later in the week. In the meantime, enjoy this beautiful summer weather!

Lisa + Jeff : : Married!

08.08.08 was a popular wedding date this year and probably was one I got the most inquiries for last year. Lisa and Jeff were the first to book and I couldn't imagine not being a part of this couple's day. Not only did they have true hearts of gold, but they were seriously up for anything for their pictures. I'll let their preview later this week tell more about their day (riding their Harley into the reception hall for their grand announcement...definitely a first for me and totally unforgettable!) but here are a few teasers to get you started.

Experiencing Email Troubles

Renee : : Senior Session

Yesterday afternoon I headed out to Holland for a senior session I have been excited for all summer long. Renee and her parents go to my church and last spring her mom and her approached me about doing her senior session this summer. We put it on the calendar back when August still seemed quite a ways off. Can anyone quite believe it is August already!?

We started off in downtown Holland, fighting the crowds for the annual sidewalk sales. From there we headed to the beach and following up our session at their marina. It was an amazing session and Renee was a total natural behind the camera. Enjoy your preview!

What's more fun than finding a surfboard to pose next to? Love it!

Allison + Chad : : Engaged!

Allison and Chad both hail from the same hometown I do...Allison actually graduating just a grade after me from high school. When she called me up a few months ago to photograph her and Chad's wedding next fall, I was more than excited and so happy I had their wedding date open!

Not only was I looking forward to their session this evening, I had the added bonus of seeing an old friend of mine...Angela, Allison's sister! Angela moved to Nashville nearly ten years ago and it was perfect timing that she was in town this week and able to come along for some of the fun.

Allison and Chad were totally up for anything in this shoot, even laying down in a stream of icy cold water. Love them!

I made Angela sit in the stream too. I'm an amazing friend...nice to see you, now freeze your britches off in an icy cold stream. She's a trooper though...no complaining and what a fun picture!

They also brought their quad. I love when couples incorporate their own interests and personalities into their sessions.
Thanks again guys! Angela - so fabulous to see you, Allison - I hope you love your pictures, Chad - please don't hate me for making you go in that stream tonight. Can't wait for your Castle Farms wedding next year!

Lindsey + Brian : : Engaged!

Last night I met Lindsey and Brian in downtown Holland for their engagement session. Lindsey was recently in Rachel and Matt's wedding in June and it's been so great to work with her so much this year!

Lindsey and Brian are such a sweet couple and we all braved the August heat together for a great session.

Can't wait for your winter wedding!

Little Isabella

This afternoon I got to see a familiar face...little Isabella, who was at Daisy and Greg's wedding this past weekend.

Living out in Utah, her mom and dad asked me a few months ago if I could capture this spunky one-year-old while they were in the area for the wedding and I was more than eager to put a session on the calendar.

Heading out to Spring Grove Park this afternoon, we dodged raindrops and tried our very best to get little Bella to be as excited about the shoot as we were. But in typical one-year-old fashion, running around on her newly-walking legs was totally more exciting than sitting and smiling for a girl with a camera. Totally.

Distracting Bella with the nature around her seemed to do the trick for a few frames.

And then she would look up with her sweet expressions and captivate us all.
Thank you again for a great session guys! Safe travels back to Utah!

Daisy + Greg : : Wedding Preview Gallery!

It's hard to know where to start when describing the amazing weekend that was Daisy and Greg's wedding. Our weekend started as we headed up north Friday afternoon, checked into our adorable cabin-like hotel room at The Homestead and then proceeding to the rehearsal dinner. Everyone was totally enjoying themselves, dining on the restaurant's amazing pizza, cannoli's and my favorite summer beverage of choice, Oberon.

Saturday started with all of the girls in Daisy's condo getting ready with hair and makeup crew on staff. Angie and I were there to capture the transformation in its entirety and the rest of the day flowed seamlessly.

Daisy had all of us in laughing spirits all day. She is so sweet, laid-back, perfectly at ease with those around her. Not to mention, a totally knock-out bride. The dress, the hair, the makeup...she was a vision. One that her hubby-to-be had a hard time fighting back tears upon first seeing her.

The Homestead was a perfect place for this couple to say their vows. With whimsy and a natural-feeling of elegance it was an amazing destination. Not only was the venue a perfect choice, but the vendors they had selected, including their Day-of-Coordinator, Aletha of Pearls Events, rounded out the fabulousness.

Daisy and Greg, enjoy your preview!

Because Daisy had so many natural elements in her wedding, I wanted to keep the theme going with her details for the day. With a name like Daisy, you know I had to use a few in the pictures!

A gift from Greg...
...pink sapphire studs! A perfect compliment to Daisy's custom engagement ring that has side-stones of pink sapphires...beautiful!

They went on immediately. The dress. Oh..the dress! This amazing find came from none other than one of my favorite area bridal gown stores...September's Bride.
Daisy's dog Pixel is the couples adorable dog and the Flowerdog for the ceremony. She was as good as a dog gets...completely laid back and perfectly behaved. She was as much a part of the day as Daisy and Greg!

Stunner!

Greg and Daisy chose to see other before the ceremony and as we brought Daisy up to the top of the bluff, and where they were to meet for the first time, I came up the hill to find this scene...Greg, contemplative and waiting, at the top of this site waiting for his bride-to-be.

Details of the day. There were so many I had no choice but to put a little inspiration board together to show them off.

Just before everyone was to ride the ski lift up to the ceremony site, all of us girl's sang 'Going to the Chapel' while we waited. It sounded amazing...with some of the girl's harmonizing and Daisy's father looking on. I wish I could have recorded it...truly beautiful!

Pixel ready to go up and walk down the aisle. Notice the daisies tied to her collar!Ok, so I admit...I'm a wee bit scared of heights. Because Angie was already up at the ceremony site in place and ready to capture the wedding party walking down the aisle, I had no choice but to ride the ski lift on my own. But then I spotted Aletha, and asked her if she might like to join me on the ride up. She accepted and shortly realized the real reason I asked. Aletha..thanks for making the trip up a little less scary. And snapping a few pics with me!

Best wedding processional ever!

Married!

How cute is the 'Just Married' sign? Best wedding recessional ever!

After all was said and done, we all hopped aboard the wedding limo bus to drive to some beach locations for some group shots.
Even Pixel was in the group shots...she really was a perfect flowerdog.

Cake details. Simply amazing.

Daisy, her mom, and grandma are completely goofy, silly and fabulous. Three generations of whimsy.
Do you see a trend here?
Little back story on the group of girls that stood up for Daisy: Their union as friends came complete because of N'Sync and this is them...dancing to "Bye Bye Bye" complete with super awesome dance moves.

An up north destination made even more perfect by a brilliant sunset. Daisy and Greg: You two were so super sweet to work with and truly had a perfect wedding day. Congratulations again!

Daisy + Greg : : Married!

This weekend Angie and I traveled up to Northern Michigan to the Homestead, nestled in Glen Arbor, to photograph Daisy and Greg's seriously fabulous wedding (everyone took a ski lift up to the ceremony site...no joke...amazing!!).

Aletha of Pearls Events has more details on her blog and I'll fill in everything else in pictures later this week when I post their preview gallery. I'm so excited to look through the rest of the pictures...it was a truly perfect weekend. Daisy and Greg...you two are amazing. Much happiness to you both!
